Health & Fitness Expo

At the Eugene Marathon Health & Fitness Expo you can shop cool vendors, collect freebies, learn about new products, listen to local and national running icons and get excited to run on Sunday! The expo is also your opportunity to pick up your race packet - this includes your bib number with timing tag attached, t-shirt and goodie bag.

  • Packet Pick-up availble for Marathon & Half Marathon participants. 
  • 5K & Kids Run participants may pick up their packets before the race on Saturday morning at the start line - near 15th & Agate - from 6:45-7:45 only. Leave yourself plenty of time!

VIRTUAL RACE BAG:

We were proud to be named a "Top 10 Green Event in North America" by Runner's World.  We've pushed the green envelope even further by saving over 1000lbs of paper and cardboard by going virtual with our goodie bag!  

Participants still receive our popular "green reusable goodie bag" with a few samples & coupons (including a FREE Jamba Juice card).  But now they can also "CLICK" to find additional coupons and sponsor offers in their VIRTUAL RACE BAG.

EXPO RACE REGISTRATION:

Registration for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Marathon is available at the expo on Friday, April 26th, from 1:00-6:00 pm.  Marathon and Half Marathon registration is also available on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 am -6:00 pm. (Higher Expo Prices Apply).  There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR ANY RACE!  >>Registration Information 


SHOE RECYCLE:

Recycle your old shoes with "A Step in the Right Direction" at the Eugene Marathon Health & Fitness Expo and Finish Festival!   Just bring your old pairs of athletic shoes.  ASRD, an annual initiative organized by UO students in the Lundquist College of Business, partners with Nike Re-Use A Shoe and Playing for Kickz to recycle old shoes.  Find the ASRD bins at packet pick-up at Lane Events Center during Expo hours or inside the Finish Festival on race day.


PASTA DINNER:

Brought to you by Wild Duck Catering

While picking up your race packet plan to attend the traditional Pasta Dinner at the Lane Event Center and fuel up for the big day.  All proceeds from the pasta dinner benefit the Bpositiv Foundation for Children with Cancer. Click here for details.

During his weight lose, Jase started running, overcoming obstacles and challenges to finish The Honolulu Marathon and eventually, The North Face Endurance Challenge 50K Ultramarathon.

Cooperative Performance & Rehabilitation and 2008 Olympian and coach of Team Run Eugene, Ian Dobson discuss how they evaluate runner muscular imbalance and mechanical efficiency to implement an individualized program supplemented with training.

1:00 - 1:30 PM – COURSE PRESENTATION

2:00 - 2:50 PM – LAUREN FLESHMAN
2-time 5,000 meter U.S. Champion Lauren Fleshman returns to the speaker line up. Fresh off a move to Bend and pregnant with her first baby, Lauren will discuss endurance training, recovery strategies, nutrition tips, work/training balance and more.

3:00 - 3:50 – FINAL TIPS from JOE HENDERSON
Joe has written more than two dozen books on running and fitness and has inspired runners of all abilities for over 50 years. Currently coaching marathon teams in Eugene and teaching running at the University of Oregon, Joe is a wealth of knowledge for all runners.

5:45 PM – PASTA DINNER with EUGENE OLYMPIANS! 
Cathie Twomey Bellamy & Mary Decker Slaney
The history and mystique of this longtime running capital, as seen by internationl legends who have lived and trained here for years. Enjoy a first-class pasta dinner with World Champions Cathie Twomey Bellamy and Mary Decker Slaney. Laura McClain from Run Momma Run moderates.
