2025 Eugene Marathon to serve as the USATF Oregon championship in the marathon and half marathon

The Eugene Marathon and the USATF Oregon Association are proud to announce the 2025 Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon will be the official USA Track & Field Oregon championship races in 2025. Both events will take place at Hayward Field on Sunday, April 27, 2025 with a combined 7:00 AM start. 

USATF Oregon championship awards will be presented to the top three female finishers and top three male finishers in each of the championship races. To compete for these championships, participants must be USATF members. Go here to join USATF.

The USATF Oregon awards will be in addition to Eugene Marathon’s top three overall and age group awards, which the event offers each year.

The Eugene Marathon, which began in 2007, is the Pacific Northwest’s largest marathon and takes place each spring on the last Sunday of April. The marathon and half marathon courses traverse through the communities of Eugene and Springfield, alongside the Willamette River, and on the same roads that the world’s best runners have competed on for years. All races start outside Hayward Field and finish on the iconic track inside the stadium.

United States Track & Field (USATF) is the National Governing Body for track and field, cross country, long distance running, race walking, and mountain trail running in the United States. USATF Oregon is an accredited association of the USATF.
