SATURDAY: Eugene 5K & Kids Duck Dash presented by OCCU - There is metered street parking around Hayward Field on Saturdays. Additionally, many UO parking lots are available and free to the public on weekends. Read signs carefully.
SUNDAY: Marathon & Half Marathon - Parking around Hayward Field on Sunday will be limited and parking violators will be towed. Many UO lots are free to park on Sunday – read signs carefully. We encourage participants to park downtown and take shuttles from the Graduate Eugene. Downtown street parking and parking garages are also free on Sundays.
SHUTTLEs — SUNDAY ONLY
Pre-Race Shuttles: 5:30 a.m. – 6:40 a.m.
Pre-race shuttles are for Marathon and Half Marathon participants wearing bibs only. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED and random bag checks will be conducted. Shuttles to Hayward Field run every 10 minutes from the following locations between 5:30 a.m. and 6:40 a.m.
Graduate Eugene (66 E 6th Ave, Eugene, OR) - Shuttles load on the 7th Ave. side of the hotel. Downtown street parking and City of Eugene parking garages with hundreds of parking spots are FREE on Sunday. The Graduate Eugene serves as our primary shuttle location on Sunday morning. Lots of surrounding parking, lots of shuttle buses leaving every 5-8 minutes and a short ride to Hayward Field.
Valley River Inn Parking Lot (1000 Valley River Way, Eugene, OR 97401) - Shuttle stop located just west of the Inn. Park between the Inn and the Valley River Center. This is a very convenient park-and-ride location for both in-town residents and out-of-town guests staying north of the Willamette River.
Hutton St. and Kruse Way (Springfield, OR) - Participants staying in any of the surrounding eight hotels or being dropped off may access this shuttle location. Parking is not available at this shuttle stop.
Hayward Field Start/Finish - Shuttle drop-off and post race pick-up is located at 15th and University, west of Hayward Field. View on Race Day Map.
Post-Race Shuttles: 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Participants and spectators may ride the post-race shuttles after finishing the race. Shuttles run every 15 minutes and stop at all shuttle locations above.
Passenger DROP-OFF
Check out the Parking Map above for the most convenient locations to drop off runners on the west side and east side of the start line.
EMX & LTD
Lane Transit District provides easy and affordable transportation around the City of Eugene. Specifically, the EmX line (bus rapid transit) stops just blocks from Downtown to Hayward Field at the Agate Station stop. View EMX and LTD schedules and maps here.
bike VALET (Free) & BIKE share
The Eugene Marathon proudly offers FREE bike valet services located at the corner of 17th & Agate (near the Start Line). Thanks to Cascadia Mobility, the bike valet makes getting to the starting line as smooth as your race! The Bike Valet will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26 and from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27.
