Pacers

The On Pace Eugene Marathon pace team is looking forward to helping runners of all abilities achieve their Marathon and Half Marathon goals. Pacers are experienced runners who will help support runners with even pacing and enthusiastic encouragement. Pacers will do their best to run Boston Marathon qualifying times. For more information on Boston qualifying times, please visit the BAA website. The Marathon and Half Marathon start together and follow the same course through about 10 miles.

Pace Group Times

Pace group times are based on Boston Marathon qualifying times.

Corrals

To ensure a smooth and safe start for all participants, the Marathon and Half Marathon are separated into corrals. Corral assignments are printed on bibs and assigned by the estimated finish time that was entered during registration.

We ask for participants’ cooperation when arriving to the starting corrals. Lining up with the fastest in the front and progressively slower runners/walkers behind minimizes the amount of unnecessary passing during the first few miles and creates a safer and more enjoyable event for everyone.

You are welcome to move back corrals, but if you need to move up, you must visit the Registration Troubleshoot desk at the Health and Wellness Expo.

The Marathon course has 12 aid stations, staggered approximately every 2 miles. Water and Gatorade Lemon-Lime Thirst Quencher will be available at every aid station.
