The 2021 Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon medals are crafted from the salvaged east grandstand steps at Historic Hayward Field.
Steps that, for decades, watched the greatest in track and field compete at the highest level. Steps that watched world records be broken, Olympic teams made, and dreams realized.
Steps that saw thousands and thousands of runners cross the finish line at the Eugene Marathon.
The 2021 medals are an exact miniature replica of the steps they are cut from, and are made in Eugene by local manufacturer MAC Group.
