Thousands of runners will take to the streets of Tracktown for the Eugene Marathon! During the race, navigating through Eugene might be a little different than normal.

Sunday:

  • South University neighborhood will be impacted from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with closures including Agate, 24th, Harris, 19th, 20th, 23rd, University and Hilyard.

  • Fairmount neighborhood will impacted from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with closures on Agate.

  • Amazon neighborhood will be impacted from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. with closures including Hilyard and partial closures on Amazon Pkwy.

  • Southeast neighborhood will be impacted from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. with partial closures on East and West Amazon.

  • Friendly Area neighborhood will be impacted from 6:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. with partial closures on Amazon Pkwy.

  • River Road neighborhood will be impacted from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with partial closure on Copping.

Saturday:

  • South University neighborhood will be impacted from 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with partial closures between Alder and Agate; 13th and 24th.

    • Amazon Pkwy - northbound lane closed 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

  • Springfield (Sunday)

    • Franklin through Glenwood - Single westbound lane closed 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

    • Main St from Glenwood to 8th - closed 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

    • A St from 8th to Mill - closed 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

    • Mill from A St to D St - southbound lane closed 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

    • D St from Mill to Walnut - eastbound lane closed 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

  • Eugene (Saturday - 5K)

    • Agate St north of 18th to 13th - closed 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    • Agate St south of 18th to 24th - closed 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    • 24th Ave from Agate to University - closed 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    • University from 20th to 24th - closed 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

PARKING

Eugene Marathon Parking Map

SATURDAY: Eugene 5K & Kids Duck Dash presented by OCCU - There is metered street parking around Hayward Field on Saturdays. Additionally, many UO parking lots are available and free to the public on weekends. Read signs carefully.

SUNDAY: Marathon & Half Marathon - Parking around Hayward Field on Sunday will be limited and parking violators will be towed.  Many UO lots are free to park on Sunday – read signs carefully. We encourage participants to park downtown and take shuttles from the Graduate Eugene (click here for shuttle info). Downtown street parking and parking garages are also free on Sundays.  

EMX & LTD

Lane Transit District provides easy and affordable transportation around the City of Eugene. Specifically, the EmX line (bus rapid transit) stops just blocks from Downtown to Hayward Field at the Agate Station stop.  View EMX and LTD schedules and maps here.

bike VALET & BIKE share

The Eugene Marathon proudly offers FREE bike valet services located at the corner of Agate & 17th Ave. Thanks to Cascadia Mobility, the bike valet will make getting to the starting line as smooth as your race.
